What does DTF mean?
DTF means direct-to-film. The design is printed onto specialized film and transferred to compatible fabric using heat and pressure.
Are your DTF transfers ready to press?
Yes. Marie Gems DTF transfers arrive printed and ready to press.
Do I need a DTF printer?
No. The printing has already been completed. You need a compatible blank and appropriate heat press for application.
Do I have to order a gang sheet?
No. Marie Gems specializes in individual DTF transfers, so you can choose a design, size, and quantity without creating a gang sheet.
Do you offer gang sheets?
Marie Gems currently focuses on individual DTF transfers, curated bundles, and custom transfers from uploaded artwork rather than gang sheets.
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes. Use the custom DTF upload option to submit your print-ready artwork and order individual transfers.
Can I send a reference image?
You can contact Marie Gems about a reference image or design idea, but reference-based custom design work is separate from printing an existing print-ready file and may require an additional design fee.
What file should I upload?
High-resolution PNG artwork is preferred when a transparent background is appropriate. Clear, high-resolution JPG/JPEG artwork may also be accepted.
What sizes can I order?
Available individual DTF transfer sizes include 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12". Availability may vary by product.
How are designs sized?
Artwork is proportionally scaled to preserve its original aspect ratio, so the exact width and height vary by design.
What temperature should I use?
The recommended starting temperature is 320°F.
How long should I press?
The recommended starting press time is 15 seconds.
Is the transfer hot peel or cold peel?
Marie Gems DTF transfers use a cold-peel application based on the current recommended instructions.
Can I order only one transfer?
Yes. Individual transfers can be ordered without creating a gang sheet.
Are DTF bundles gang sheets?
No. Marie Gems DTF bundles are curated groups of individual ready-to-press transfers. They are not gang sheets.
What can I apply DTF transfers to?
DTF transfers can be applied to many compatible fabric items, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and tote bags. Always confirm the blank can withstand the required heat and pressure.
